Welcome from Karen Manners, Deputy Chief Constable, Warwickshire Police and Amanda Blakeman, Deputy Chief Constable, West Mercia Police
Many thanks for your interest in this challenging and critical role.
In 2012, Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police formed a ground-breaking alliance, aimed at reducing policing budgets whilst providing greater operational and organisational resilience in support of a joint vision to Protect People from Harm. Our success has been nationally recognised and acclaimed and other forces around the country are now looking to implement a similar model.
Five years into the alliance, we are working together, sharing our resources, our expertise and our skill to deliver an excellent service to our communities. As the Alliance matures and policing becomes increasingly complex, we are committed to becoming even better at what we do, building upon solid foundations to ensure that both forces become more:
Agile, intelligence-lead, preventative and proactive;
Diverse, resilient and people focused;
Innovative and partnership based and;
Better able to predict and respond rapidly to changing demand, both nationally and locally.
To deliver this we are looking for the right individual to become our Transformation Director. You will lead across all aspects of our high value change programme to address these objectives and we are both looking forward to meeting with you to find out how you will go about it.
